Designing the interiors of Asiatiko, the kosher robata-style Japanese restaurant in Aventura was all about creating a terrace feel that could transition from day to night. Bringing the outdoors inside, we designed the interiors of the restaurant to feel natural as if one is dining al fresco. The bar designed in emerald green tile wraps around a large tree, which is the main character of our design. Elements like wood, brick, and concrete play together with layers of different materials with jewel toned colors creating an atmosphere that balances a Miami and Japanese aesthetic.
